It gives us great pleasure to introduce you to HISCON-XI, the biannual congress of Hospital Infection Society of India. With the theme of the conference 2011, being ‘Antimicrobial Resistance-turning back the clock’, the aims of HISI become quite apparent and aligned with the current global scenario.
The challenges faced by all of us throughout the world of infection prevention and control, remain the same, the objectives clearly being defined as minimizing the risk of acquiring health care associated infections and to decrease antimicrobial resistance.
Dealing with peculiar problems in our health care, would be experts and renowned academicians from India and abroad to have interactive sessions focused on ground realities and practical aspects.
